Bureaucratic Overreach writ small

In my prior Email life, I wrote often about bureaucratic overreach. Generally I focused on the EPA, both versions of the DOE (Education and Energy), the DOJ, NLRB, Executive Orders and a host of others – but mostly at the Federal level, since they cost the most, and are generally the most painful.

However, there are many more examples on a far smaller scale that perhaps both illustrate both overreach and over-criminalization at a far lower lever.   And this is from a very Red state. Heritage brought it out in the Foundry blog today  Read here.

Do you have some that are closer to home that I should highlight?
